Terms of Service
Last updated August 2026. These terms apply to services provided by DC Visual Productions LLC. A signed project agreement, where one exists, takes precedence over anything stated here.
Booking and deposits
A date is reserved once a deposit is received. Deposits are non refundable and are applied to the final balance. The remaining balance is due on or before delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Cancellations made more than seven days before a shoot forfeit the deposit only. Cancellations inside seven days may be billed at fifty percent of the project total, since the date can no longer be rebooked. Rescheduling is accommodated where the calendar allows.
Weather and drone operations
Drone work is performed under FAA Part 107 rules. Flights will not be conducted in unsafe weather, in restricted airspace, or without required authorization. If conditions prevent flight, we reschedule the aerial portion at no additional charge.
Delivery and revisions
Standard delivery is within fourteen business days of the shoot unless a different timeline is agreed. Each project includes two rounds of revisions. Additional revisions or changes to the agreed creative direction are billed at an hourly rate quoted in advance.
Ownership and usage
On full payment the client receives the delivered final files with rights to use them for the purposes agreed. DC Visual Productions LLC retains ownership of raw footage and project files unless purchased separately, and retains the right to display selected work in its portfolio unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
Client responsibilities
The client is responsible for securing location access, permits, and permission from people appearing on camera where required. Delays caused by lack of access may extend the delivery timeline.
Liability
DC Visual Productions LLC is insured. In the event of equipment failure, data loss, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected project.
